We got hoplessly entwined with that Happy Park Virus rigamole (we thought it was old news, but got another one this week…if the attchment has the word Happy in it, don’t open it): but maybe we can help head this new one off.
According to our computer wizard, Ed Kawakami, some cyber scuzball (or group of them) has created another E-Mail virus like the Melissa virus. Watch out!!
Please be careful and make sure that your virus patterns are up to date.
It arrives in your inbox (and seems to be mostly affecting MS-Outlook users) titled ‘ILOVEYOU’ and asking that you to look at the attachment labeled 'LOVELETTER coming from ME.
Do not open the attachment. It appears to be a Visual Basic Script that propagates itself to every address in your address book and also may affect vital files on your hard drive and network (Very much like the Melissa Virus).
Delete the message without opening the attachment and you should be fine.

Norton Antivirus (symantec.com) has just recently put together virus updates to protect you from this. Go to their site for more info.
