Hello All,
I am BRAND NEW to this, so pardon my stupidity. My name is Shamun Mahmud. I have been laid off from a company. I have little savings but was interested in investing in real estate. I don’t know where to begin (I don’t know what I don’t know). I was wondering if there are any URLs that you folks might be aware that have FAQs. Basically, I just want to get started slowly and methodically and am hoping that you folks can help point me in the right direction.

Congratulations, you have already found the best and most active real estate web site on the net.
Look at the menu at the top left of the main page. Check out the Success Stories, the How To articles, and all the other message boards and information sources.
Also, use the Archive Search when you have a question. Every newbie question has been answered and debated thoroughly, all you need to do is look them up.
You could start with a search for Beginners Success, by Ron Starr, if you want a good start.
