I live in Buffalo, NY and am looking purchase a couple properties that I will rehab myself. I would prefer to stay away from structural rehabs and stick to cosmetic such as drywall, painting, kit remodels, or things I don’t have to hire an architect for. Any info on good, no bs, books or other material to give me some of these secrets and essentials so that I don’t wind up in a bad deal? It seems every type of software or book deal that’s out there carries with it these “get rich quick” promises. I am just looking for solid info and smart practices. Any advice is much appreciated. (Just to clarify, that is info on the real estate end, and not how to fix them up.) Thanks, Joe
