Chris, when you say new homes, do you mean brand new factory homes?
Why would you want to overpay like that? Are you running a philantrophic organization or a for profit one?
What a perfect place for you to live, and do mobile home deals. You should really be able to prosper in an area like Joshua Tree. Lots of cheap land, mobiles allowed, and plenty of growth, warm year round climate, and just MINUTES from the rich Palm Springs Valley.
Chris, tell the folks on this board how cheap good land is in your area of Southern California. I bet they won’t believe you.
Not so many parks but you can flip Lonnie deals on 2 1/2 & 5 acre private parcles all day long, at LOWER than, rural east coast prices. Don’t say you can’t do Lonnie deals in CA.
