I’ve always heard 2 hours is a number many investors are comfortable with. If you have no choice and need to get some Lonnie deals under your belt, do it. As long as you buy cheap enough and get a decent down payment from decent people, there should’nt be much in the way of management. Good Luck Doug

I have checked out all the local mobile home parks and their are no Lonnie deals to be found. However I have found a few about 60 to 80 miles from my area; what is a good rule of thumb in how far away to do these deals? Would it be worth all the running?

I have driven 60 miles to manage my apartment building. Given the deal the purchase was, I would do it again…however, WHAT A PAIN !!! In the end, after 5 years of running, I got tired and sold it for a tidy profit :slight_smile:

I wouldn’t drive more than an hour though, that’s just me.
