No more assignment of contracts.. - Posted by sol924

Does a land trust work on quick flips …say one week to 3 months?

I think land trust is probably best, but what if the partner/co-beneficiary decides to sell immediately?

I know that land trusts are great for title holding, but flips?

Please help.

No more assignment of contracts… - Posted by sol924

I have assigned a couple of contracts in the past year
to a rehabber and one to a loan broker.

INstead of getting an assingment fee, I’d like to try something new on the next one.

I know that you can assign purchase options and
leases to other investors/money sources. Instead of charging an assignement fee, does anyone know if it’s possible to assign contracts with both your name and the other investors name and/or his compnay?

I am trying to assign contracts to other people for a 50/50 split in future profit. IN order to do this my name would have to be in the contract along with the other investor.

What is the best way to do this?

Thanks

Sol

How about assigning it to a land trust with you and your friend as co-beneficiaries?
