My broker works with some banks that will do “buy fors” on used mobile homes. Its similar to getting a co-signer. If I have someone who can’t get a bank loan even with a strong co-signer (which is all the time), we try to get a relative to do a buy for (only a relative would be crazy enough to do it). The relative is actually the owner, but everyone knows the original buyer will be living in the home. The parks are okay with this, they just want both names on the lease.
