Don,

Don’t make a move until you know what it is you want to accomplish.
Set out your investment goals and what you want to achieve. Are you
looking to make cash, or build income? You are right, there are many
ways to invest, but knowing your outcome is very important to making
any investment decision.

This board is a great place to start, read the messages, cruise the
articles section. Attend your local REInvesting club is good too. Head
to a local bookstore and look through some books on the various ways
of investing.

I would suggest also, I actually have some podcast geared towards
beginning investors which covers the various types of investing, the
ups and downs of each, and the realiites. They are free. If you email
me I will direct you to them. I don’t want to post them here in keeping
with the etiquette of the board.

Myself and a partner are planning to purchase properties for investment. There are so many ways to invest, we don’t know where to start. We are planning to join a local REInvesting club. Do you have any advice?

Thank you,
Don P
