Thanks Ron

I just did not know if there is a conflict of interest since your attorney makes money from your purchase. Indirectly anyway.

Can your attorney notarize for you?

Maybe.

Whoever does the notarization has to be a notary. If the attorney is an notary, the answer is “yes.”

Many attorneys, while not being notarys, have a notary on their staff, the answer is “well sort, of, at least you can get it notarized in the attorney’s office.”

If the attorney does not have a on staff s/he probably knows of several nearby notaries to call upon.

Now, this is all so in CA. There may be a different law in your state. But you did not state your state, so I answered for where I am.
