If you want to sell other people’s property, take a full course, not a “pre course” get a Real Estate license. If you want to be an Investor and get and sell your own property, you do not need a Real Estate lincense. Either get a course like Sheets for the basics only, not the coaching, or get all the information you can from this site and use it wisely. Save your money and put it into your first deal.

There is an online course that can be taken to get pre-licensed in real estate. Wouldn’t it benefit you more to become a RE agent/broker than to buy courses such as Carleton Sheets? You have access to people in the business who can personally show you the ropes as well as other advantages. Any comments?

Melissa, I am not licensed in real estate but have enough contacts that I get all the information as if I were. We bought the Carleton Sheets course seven years ago and have been very successful with it.
