Does anyone have any experience with doing a short sale with ocwin?
Do they have a percentage off they will generally accept?
Please call or email if you have experience with them.

Hutch - good luck with Ocwen. Not a friendly bunch to deal with.

You can go visit them directly - they are in your back yard. They have a large office in Central Fla Research Park. It’s by UCF. Just head east on the 408 until it runs out and it will dump you right at their offices - on the right hand side of the road.

Ocwin must have a blanket contract with Wells Fargo, at least in my area. They buy defaulted mortgagees as a business, so it is very hard to get any kind of discount with them. I work with an agent who is the REO agent in my area for Ocwin, and she says they will not short sale. MicheleCO.

Todd,
I too have found Ocwen to be a royal pita. I think they buy their mortgages on the secondary market (risky paper) anyway. They want to make their own profits by short selling.
