I would simply call the broker for a status update and definitely in the future include a deadline clause so you’re not sitting around wondering about the deal.

We submitted an offer to purchase a building about a week ago.
The owners broker hasn’t given us any feedback yet. My question… What is a reasonable amount of time in which to respond?
In the future should we include an offer expires in
____ days clause? Let’s say 5 days or something reasonable.
We appreciate any advise. Thanks.
