Hi, The title co. will record the memorandum for you ,or you can do it yourself at the couty recorders office .I would call first to find out exactly how. hope this helps some :slight_smile:

This may be a stupid question but once the L/O paperwork is completed with the seller, are these the following steps to take?

  1. Have title search to ensure clear title.
  2. Set up escrow company for payments from tenant to me to seller.
  3. Record a memorandum of option for security.

One more question…how do I record a memorandum of option for security? Where do I go?
