Don’t have a factual answer, but it’s better than a “declanation company”. My guess is accpetance = approved.

Lots of financiers call themselves an “acceptance company” or “acceptance corporation”. What, exactly, does that mean (if it still has any meaning) and how does it distinguish the so-named company?
