You can do the closing via FedEx or similar services without traveling to GA.

Hello Everyone. I am looking at an apartment complex out of state and I am concerned about the closing. Can the closing be done in my state of Florida or do I have to do the closing in Georgia where the property is located? Thanks as always for any advice.

If the property is a HUD foreclosure, HUD requires settlement in person (at least that was the case 2 years ago when I bought my last HUD foreclosure).
Otherwise, settlement could be accomplished by mail (FedEx).
