They’re called “Foreclosures” and “Bankruptcies”. Contact your courthouse to see what files you can dig through. You could also start with a legal newspaper in your area to get case numbers, but you will have to go to the courthouse to do your research. There may be a foreclosure service in your area you could subscribe to for a fee. I’m sure “JT-IN” could give you more specific info on foreclsosure info in your area…

What is a good way to located over-leveraged properties in the courthouse files(like maxed out credit-cards,liens,judgements or anything else I’m not thinking about that can go against a property). Thanks
