owner financing - Posted by Robert Le Hew

I am brand new at the real estate game. It makes sense to me to sell a house to a buyer without realtors or banks having to be involved. An article I once read encouraged me to “be the banker”. Once the property is sold it’s in the owners hands. There is then no upkeep, maintenance or calls at 3:00 a.m. to fix a busted waterpipe etc… This scenario provides me with a steady income for years to come and if they fail to make their monthly payments to me the property returns to me and the process could possibly start all over again which would be to my advantage.

What do I need to learn to be able to pull this off. Are there any books, videos or people on this site that have or
are doing this?

I can see doing this with say…20 or 30 houses
Thanks for the input!!!

There’s tons of info here too if you read all the articles, etc. and the archives.
