To all you experienced rehabbers, should I buy this house? It’s in SoCal, 4 bed, 2baths, it’s in a good area. However, there’s one slight problem with it. The old man that used to own the house past away 2 months ago Aug, 2013. He past away naturally old age or something. I am doing my due diligence now. The agent wants to close by this Friday Oct 11, 2013. I still have till Friday to cancel the deal.
Once the house is all fixed up, by law, I have to disclose the owner passing away to the new buyer. My fear is that this will turn off a lot of buyers and won’t be able to sell the house. So wat would you do? Would you buy or cancel? Thanks!
