Make your offer as soon as you decide to buy. If you snooze, you lose.

There is no due diligence period after your offer is accepted unless you specify some kind of review period or contingency in the purchase contract.

There may be a state-mandated time to rescind. I think someone from California posted that a buyer had five days to back out of the deal, so that would be the due diligence period in that state.

When buying a 4 Plexx, how long is the time from when you first look at a unit to when you make the offer? The how long is the due diligence period before you actually close?

You can make an offer at any time. If you wish to check up on certain things, you can make a conditional offer. Then you do not need to waste your time if the deal is going noplace.

Ask your lawyer or title company what is customary for due diligence. If you go over time,it usually doesn’t matter. The seller will not penalise you unless he has another buyer lined up. But if they want out of the deal, they will have an excuse.
