I bought the course in California five years ago, looked into some properties and felt the costs prohibitive. Since then, the course has been on a shelf in my garage in Portland. Any Carleton Sheets Students in the Portland, Oregon area? I am new in real estate investing. What are some of the challenges that are unique to the Portland area and Oregon state as a whole? I have not yet used Carlton’s contract out here - is it legal in Oregon? Who are some really good real estate agents out here that are not offended by the creative no money or low money down deals? Which ones are proactive in finding for the investor distressed properties / flexible sellers?
