Saw a vacant MH, stoped and Talked with the PM, he stated that the MH was a pre HUD and could not be placed in the park after change of ownership. Is anyone familiar with Colorado state law that pertains to this.

Pre HUD homes are ones made before 1976. A majority of parks will not allow homes this old to move in. Usually they just don’t want older homes and this is a way to require sellers move the homes so that new ones can be brought in.

I have bought and sold many pre-HUD homes but only under the certain condition that the park would allow the home to remain in the park.
