You might be able to assign your contract. I am very skeptical of new condos especially here in FL. They are very difficult to sell. You are competing with a developer who has 100 other units to sell off. New condos unless they are beachfront are usually only good if they are owner-occupied long-term.
I hate to say this, but if for some reason the condo project does not get completed or the developer files BK, your condo will be worth about nothing. I have seen this happen many many times being in the title industry down here.
