I’m considering doing some private lending. I need some insight on how to get started. Need info on the following… Legalities - Can anyone just start lending money and call themselves private lenders or are there regulations surrounding this and to what degree. IRS Concerns? If someone can shed some light on this or put me in touch with someone who can, it would be greatly appreciated.
