Thanks for the suggestion Bill. As it turns out, the state allows you to do up to 5 without a dealers license. It certainly would be possible to do as you suggested. The next step will to as about 5 in what time period? Is it a lifetime or 5 in 1 year? Thanks for the response. Happy investing.

I am a newbie looking into doing Lonnie deals in North Carolina. In his book, Deals on Wheels, Lonnie states that you need to be a dealer if you do many of his deals. Upon asking about a dealers licence in NC, I received a “minimum requirements” form that stated among other things that I needed an office in a comercially zoned building as well as a $25,000 corporate surety bond. Am I being fed a line? Anyone have a similar experience? Thanks in advance.

Would it be possible to do a deal in your name and then do one in the name of your wife. Then possible one in the name of a corpation. This may be the way to get around the rules in your state. Just a though. God Speed
