Good morning. I’ve got a prospect that formed an LLC with 3 other people to do investment properties, and she’s looking for a mortgage to the LLC. These folks are willing to put up personal guarantees against their own income, but want everything in the name of the LLC. I talked to my boss about it and he said it’s very hard to find a lender that would give a mortgage to an LLC. Apparently, they initially had gotten approved through another broker who had an investor who would do this, but they got lured away by a bait and switch, and then the deal fell through. So, they’re in limbo?but they’ll give me the business if I can find someone. Hoping you can help?

Most Alt A, non-conforming lenders can CLOSE in the name of an LLC.
