Hi Marvin:
I use a voicemail system. When someone calls the system they get a general message which direct them to my ad mailbox, my personal mailbox, or to my wife’s mailbox.
If they select the ad mailbox, they are thanked for calling on the ad (it doesn’t say which ad), tells them we will call them back quickly. There is no information on the message.
I’m not a believer in putting out information in a message on a recorder or voicemail. I believe in speaking with each person who calls. I believe that in speaking with people that I make a difference, and that I can create situations or deals. A message on a voice mail can’t do that.
I know some people use automated methods for answering calls, or showing houses. I do neither of these. Again, I think my presence makes a difference.
