Question Re R E Brokers - Posted by MN~Chicago

John:

Because you have stated so many times in your
articles how real estate agents are the best
source for notes, I am making them my priority.

I have just about completed a one page hand-out
which will tell brokers how they can make one
additional sale per month, or even per quarter,
by using notes.

I do not yet feel able to conduct a course, so
I figured I will simply walk into every real
estate office and talk to as many brokers who
will listen, and leave the one page article on
every desk of those who didn’t, or weren’t there.

If you had hired a new note broker, would you
direct his/her initial efforts in a more
efficient way?

Thanks.

I’d say you are on the right track. Just remember there is a low percentage when it comes to agents that understand and use seller financing. So, don’t be discouraged if you get some negative responses. Remember - they are just ignorant and under-trained.

The key is to get out and start meeting the agents. Don’t worry about understanding the concepts totally first or being able to give elaborate presentations to agents. It’s not all that glamorus or fun to teach them anyway - it’s like teaching a Gorilla to tap dance.
