why not write a warranty deed? There is literally about 4 WORDS difference between a QCD and a warranty deed. If you mil has good title why raise a question that doesn’t need raised by a qcd. If you need an attorney to write a warranty deed then you need an attorney to write a QCD.

I have a property that the deed is in my mother in laws name. I want to sell the property. Do I need a lawyer to draw up a new deed on the property or can I use a Quit Claim Deed and record it with the Country recorders office? Is there anything else required to have full control of the property? I live in the state of Virginia.
