When “A and B” are named as grantees on a deed, the presumption is that they are tenants in common with undivided half interests.

I’m in a situation where My brother, my mother and I all own the residence my mother lives in. Due to her failing health, we decided that it would be best to have her Quit Claim her interest in the property over to us. When drawing up the documents, does the percentage of interest in the property my brother and I are obtaining need to be defined or is 50/50 assumed?
