I have tenants that I have to raise their rents.

If a tenant has not been raised in several years, can I raise them by the “new” increases? howabout if thier lease has expired 9 months ago but havent been raised by the then-current rent increase percentage?

I have never raised a (NYC Rent stabalized)rent before, any help appreciated!

Izzy:

If the units fall under “rent stabilzation”, you’ll have to follow guidelines for raising rents. Is the building five or more units??

For further info, why don’t you check:

Good luck.
