Have you attended any local REI club meetings? If there is one in your area, you’re sure to run across people with many different specialities and experiences in the field. That’s a good place to start making contacts.
To see if there’s a club in your neck of the woods, click “Local REI Clubs” under the “Resource” menu on the left hand side at the top of this Newsgroup page. One might be listed there.
