You might want to chech with your county officials to see if there any low interest funds available for the repairs that are needed. In my part of the country there is sometimes some community developement block grant money that gets diverted into low interest loan funds for landlords. You don’t get it if you don’t ask, and most people don’t even know it exists. Good luck…ED

Hello All!

Hope someone can help me with this situation. My mother has 7 low income duplexes. She is retired and owns them free and clear. Most of them are in need of some renovations(some roofs,siding,central heat and air ect…)What do you think is the best way to finance these repairs??? Anyone know of any investor type rehab loans? Maybe she should refinance a couple? (I know this would help on her taxes) or maybe a home equity loan?? Any help would be greatly appreciated…
