My husband and I own properties that we rent out. In addition to actively managing these properties, he also works full time for a large real estate company as a property manager, managing properties that we do not own. Do his hours worked as a property manager for his employer count as hours worked in real estate to qualify for the Real Estate Professional designation? Thank you.

“the Real Estate Professional designation?”
What does this mean? I know of no such thing.
There are a number of RE organizations, each of which offers various designations & certificates, but without knowing what organization you mean, nobody could answer this question.
