I am “quit claiming” a property that I own in Illinois into a Land Trust.
When I called the county recorder I was told that I have to have a ‘stamp’ on the deed.
When i asked the recorder’s office I was told that an attroney would have this.
My problem is that I am in Michigan and not Illinois.
What is this so called stamp?
