Sandy FL has written a good article in the money making section that should point you in the right direction. As far as books and materials, read everthing offered here, and watch what books people recommend. Get them from your library or buy them (locally or amazon.com). There are a number of threads on both boards that are currently recommending books.

Could anyone help me out here?
I live in Pennsylvania a town called Greensburg.
I have taken the suggestion from Carelton Sheets and others
to join a local inventment club (realestate) I don’t know where to begin to find one.
I have called and called many places (maybe there are none here) to no avail. Any suggestions?
How can I find seminars in my area on realestate investing.
What does anyone consider the best books apart from Carelton Sheets course. I enjoyed it but have difficulty understanding it, and thought some other suppliments would be good.
