I am pursueing a house that was sold at a Sheriff Sale. House sold for $22K and ARMV is $105K-$110K. I have located the home owner who let the property go, but he wont answer the door. The nieghbors say the have seen him 7 times in the last 10 years. After pulling the file at the court house it states in the file that he never comes to the door and he just hides out.
My question is if I mail him a letter offering to buy his redemption rights or even have a moving company move him, because eventually he will have to move. What forms do I use? Is it as easy as having him sign a Quit claim deed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
