Refi on subject to owned less than 12 mo?? - Posted by Cory

I have a property that I purchased “Subject To” that I had to completely rehab. I am wanting to refi and pull out cash on the property but I have only owned it for 3 months. The Lenders I have spoke with will not lend until I have had it 12 months. Does anyone know a way around this or a lender that will do it? Any help is appreciated.

Hello - This can be a real issue for lenders (as you are discovering). I think that Flagstar may not have a seasoning requirement (as long as you are a conforming credit borrower).

I can do 6 month seasoning if you’re in FL.
