All,
I got the deed on a property that was a lease/option and upon dealing/ laboring with the property (deadbeats,…) assigned interest to another investor. The deed was originally taken in a trust’s name with my co. as trustee. I thought when we sold interest on this we changed the deed info but the SDAT still lists my company as owner. How do I get my co. off of this property so as not to worry about liablity down the road??

What do I need to make sure this new guy does to remove my info and have his info on title?

Resign as Trustee.
