reverse phone lookup? - Posted by SteveA (FL)

Anyone know of a good (free) reverse phone lookup? I used to use reversephonedirectory.com but they’ve stopped giving free information.

Thanks.

Whitepages.com is the same as reversephonedirectoy.com. They’re linked.

I even used it today. It still is free!

Are you sure? I just used them to retrieve an address off a phone number I had:

no more names? - Posted by SteveA (FL)

I don’t get names anymore. I always get stuff like this:

Type: Land Line
Provider: Blue Licenses Holding, Llc

And then it says for a fee I can get more information. I used to get names and addresses most of the time.

?

You don’t get names/addresses when it’s unlisted land line or when it’s
a cell number. I don’t have any experience with the paid services that
offers numbers for those that are unlisted.

I’ve noticed that things have changed a great deal in the last few years
with more people having internet access. More and more numbers and
addresses are harder to find for me because people are a little more
sophisticated about privacy.

If you end up trying one of the paid services for unlisted numbers,
please post back and let us know how it worked for you. Thanks,
Kristine

Kristine,

I have used Intelius for information on cell numbers. It gives me a name (and for more money, I can get an address), but since I have a 1000-search account ($ 200) with intelius, I just find my addresses with the name, if I need it.

If they can’t supply a name, but only the phone provider, then I can get the amount I paid credited.
