I have a pest control service do my apartment buildings every 4 weeks and have had a problem which was corrected with bait and glue boards. The service cost is $75.00 per building. (14 Units) Regular maintenance is part of doing business!

Anybody know what the best thing to do about mice? Or do I need to call in the professionals. I have an older brick home that would be impossible to make completely “mouse proof.” Tenants are becoming upset. I need to do something quickly. Anyone else had any similar experiences?

I don’t where you are located Michael, but in FL in 1 and 2 family properties the landlord is not required to provide extermination services. In all my leases, I require tenants to “exterminate for pests as necessary” under the repair and maintenance clause. Why should you be paying for the tenant’s lack of cleanliness?
