I have placed several ads over the last year or so to increase my base of available investors. The ads are simply and ususally say something like:
REAL ESTATE INVESTOR SEEKS PRIVATE FUNDING. GREAT RETURNS. XXX-XXXX.
I understand there may be some state Blue Sky laws and/or federal SEC laws prohibiting advertisements in search of investors in order to protect the inexperienced against fraud, etc. Any investors willing to share their experience in this area? Any legal minds? Thanks.
