Skip this site’s search function and use Google’s instead. Use this format: site:www.real-estate-online.com GL-ON. Even easier, download the Google Toolbar and use it’s “Search Site” button. Very handy.

I thought there was a way to find posts, posted by certain people. You can’t just put their name in the search function. Is there a way?

It worked for me. The name that you search for should be the one that they use on screen. For example, I’m Brent_IL, and not my first and last names.

I just tried with your name, doesn’t work either. It does work however if I put in a general subject such as lease option.

In the past, the search function didn’t work for the current year. Posts had to be archived to be picked up. I saw that there is a notice that “Note: “Main Search” (current files) NOW WORKING!!!” but I couldn’t get any results for “Stewart Preston.” I tried it using Brent_IL and got 2,534 hits. I believe that it’s time for me to shut up for a while.
Could anyone who knows how this works please explain how to use it?

Here are some suggestions to improve your search:
Select “Match ANY word”
Make sure you spelled the words correctly

I have been posting to this board practically every day for years and none of my posts show up under my name.
They will show up under other threads however.
