You need to study the foreclosure laws in PA to know. Or talk to a knowledgeable real estate attorney.

I’m not an attorney. I do not know PA laws related to foreclosure. Here in CA the senior obligations are not effected by the foreclosure of a junior obligation. The ad valorem taxes are senior to all other liens, so they go with the property. But, we have a non-judicial foreclosure. It is possible that the judicial foreclosure is different and I believe that PA is judicial foreclosure.

Does the winning bidder of a mortgage foreclosure have to make up the
back taxes in addition to the bid price? or Are the back taxes
satisified first with the remainder going to 1st, 2nd,… from the
final bid amount?
