Back in 2000, we purchased the lot nextdoor. 15 X 125. Now we find out there are backtaxes oweed. The city sold the lein to Wachovia Bank. We have tried to make a payment plan. the taxes about $2000.00. But there is interest and fees do. So the amount is more like $7000.00. My husband saw an Attorney. he said do nothing. Here we are at the third attemped Sheriff sales. How do they expect to get $7000.00 for a lot worth no more the $500.00. What can we do. That want all, and right now??? Help
