I am very interested in investing in real estate. I think I would also like to be a real estate agent as a side career that will eventually replace my job as a financial auditor. I have an extensive sales and marketing background. I think being an agent would help me learn the area faster, provide me with access to tons of listings, and provide additional income. So…any thoughts? I have heard some people say don’t get licensed and others say it is a good idea. I would like to hear from those who are experienced investors and agents/brokers. I would eventually like to open a brokerage myself since I have an entrepreneurial streak. I appreciate your feedback in advance. Thanks.
