Go to the “How To Articles” and perhaps the “legal corner”. Read the free articles by Bill Bronchick…I suspect they will answer many of these questions for you.

I am getting started and want to know what the differences are of forming various legal entities. Another words, what is the difference between LLP & Corporations? Why is one better when you are mainly doing Flips verses another when you are doing a L/O? There are also 2 types of coporations subchapter S and ???
Lastly, how do I form the LLP / Corp in Texas? Go to the city, state captial, via web site etc.
