If the previous owners were heavy smokers… you may want to paint inside anyway… The walls are probably off yellow from nicotine ?
Once I painted my house and saw the difference… I smoke outside and make everyone else do the same =)

This message is if anyone has bought a good house and wants to put it into a L/O. but when you walk into the house it smells because a smoker lived there. Does anyone have any subjections on how to get the smell out of the house except for a whole new interior paint job.

I had a condo like that. I used a spray made by the ZEP company to kill smoke odors. I sprayed it in the air and in the carpets and did the trick.
I cant remember the name of it but I know it can be found in Home Depot or Lowes.
