estate.Starting reading books around 1997 in book
stores,could not afford to buy
them,cook.whitney.etc.Then i saved up enough money
to buy sheets from a friend who wanted to sell it
cheap $50.I read it all,but was to afraid to do
anything.It was jan 2 1999 im still chicken when
I came across this web site.You give me courage to
get through all the nosssss and to know that Im not
alone.Here are my results in the last couple of
months

1.Bought house for 24000,2000 down did a wrap for 9
years.9% payments 303.rented it for 500,fmv 35000
2.Read both of lonnies books,loved them.Found out
to much red tape in this state to do lonnie
deals.So I drove 500 miles to a state where I can
do it,call me crazy.Bought a real sad mobile home
for 700 renter was living in it and wanted to buy
it,sold it 130 dwn 130 month for 10 months.just a
baby deal.
3.Bought mobile home 2b 2b 12 by 75 on water for
1500,put 650 in to it for repairs sold it for 4944
550 dwn 169 month for 26 months 0% The guy I sold
it to lost his job a month later and I got it back
and sold it the same terms a week later to another
couple.
4.paid 23500 for a SfH 3500 dwn 179 month 7% for 15
years owner finance.fmv 32000.I have it rented for
435
I still get nervous and have a hard time speaking
when I make offers but Im getting better.Thanks to
everyone for helping me find a better life

Dan,

Great job! Keep it up. And remember this, you’ve done more than 99% of the people out there (not withstanding those on this site) will EVER do.

You stated that you started reading books in the book store in '97 and eventually bought CS’s course used in '99 then finally did these deals in the last couple of months. So it took a couple of years. No big deal. Some people wait a lifetime and still never get anything done.

I think the most important thing you’ve done is strived to get past your fear. Once you did, look what you were able to accomplish. The good news is that it just keeps getting easier and easier.

Congrats again, and good luck with future deals.

Thanks! I think it helps everyone to hear these short success/war stories. It also lets everyone see not only the huge potential, but the many creative ways to do things. It also points out some things that others may not have considered - but that can be eye-openers even for those in this game for a while…
