Turn this mater over to the title insurance company you have your policy with, they have attorneys that will handle this. The title insurance company is on the hook not you.

Also in reference to the properties discussed below, the city placed a lein on these properties after I had purchased them because the previous owners owed them money. The city attorney told me that I have to pay it, but I told him he was smoking dope. They still haven’t removed it. I was never served or contacted in any way prior to the lien being placed.
