We need help structuring a deal.
We have a house that we are L/O (we are not the owners) for $185,000. We had someone who wants to buy it from us. Actually, they want owner-financing and to trade 1 house for $75,000 (which the wife owns free and clear) and possibly a second house (owned by the husband).
Can we structure an owner finance deal even though we don’t own this L/O? We have the $185K house on a 5 year term.
